THE DAWN {gauri madan}!

“Impossible is a word in fools dictionary”

The thought that nothing can be done, its the system which is wrong and we are all trapped in this system needs to be removed from our languid mind. We always find solace in blaming the system saying that we cannot do anything, here’s where the basic mistake is there are lot many things one can do ,the apathy around us is indicative of our lack of initiative. We all keep cursing the system waiting for some seraph to come and cure the system till then we just intend to sit back and keep blaming the system as though we are independent of it until it comes to you and catches unaware in a siesta. Then suddenly you are exposed and suddenly you find yourself lying alone (People who are able to stand in these circumstances are the ones who become god fathers) with mighty opponents in front the “System” and public apathy “Mera kya jaata hain” type people which we all are and hopefully wont be after reading this . So act before you find yourself in such a situation desperate, helpless and not knowing what to do. So act now.

Take the recent Jessica Lal case for instance instead of blaming the Judiciary, the police ,the hostile witnesses just think what you can do. It’s easy to blame others and keep passing the buck but it would be better if we stand up, take responsibility make ourselves heard. Now everyone has got there share of work and cannot contribute to it in equal measure but none the less one has to realize that no contribution is insignificant it could be as simple as sending a mail or SMS to your buddies to make them more aware of the issue. Then you might say what will happen if only I just send a mail or SMS what is that it’s going to achieve to illustrate to you the power of 1 just what’s the difference between "000000000" and "1000000000" that’s the difference one can make. To elaborate on this I cannot think of a better than that given in English lesson we had in school, a short one but more meaningful than a thesis. Its basic plot was that the passenger thanks the cab driver after a arduous journey .The passengers friend is surprise and asks his friend as to why he needed to thank the cab driver he was just doing his job. To this the friends replied that he made the cab driver happy he in turn will be nice to other people ,they in turn would be nice to others who they meet so a simple thank you touched so many lives. What we have to realize is we have the power to touch millions of lives make a difference it doesn’t mean we need to interact with the million but it means doing our bit ,doing what we can and if we have the drive and the will to make things better ,we can. Its not going to be a walk in the park there will be times when you feel betrayed ,insignificant but still we need to carry on ,we need to fight it out.

No revolution started as a revolution ,it started as a small uprising, which ignited the flames for a revolution. We are not talking about starting a revolution ,all we are talking here about is taking the initiative ,making a beginning. The beginning of all great things is small what we need is men and women who made conscious choices sensed in their hearts and minds that they were witnessing the birth of a new age and are willing to go to any lengths to get things done start a new era......

Sarfaroshi ki tamana ab hamare dil main haidekhna hai zor kitna bazu-e-qatil main hai karta nahi kyon dusara kuch bat-chit dekhata hun main jise vo chup teri mahfil main haiai shahid-e-mulk-o-millat main tere upar nisar ab teri himat ka charcha gair ki mahfil main hai vaqt ane de bata denge tujhe ai asmanham abhi se kya batayen kya hamare dil main haikhinch kar lai hain sab ko qatl hone ki ummid ashiqon ka aj jamghat kucha-e-qatil main hai

This is hopefully not the end but a beginning……
